Fieldwork report presents all the basic information about the survey – dates of fieldwork, how the fieldwork was organized, targeted sample size and response rate by settlement types, as well as any specific issues faced by the enumerators in the process of fieldwork.

Source questionnaire for each survey is being prepared in English, following Questionnaire development strategy. It has been translated into the local languages – Armenian, Azerbaijani, and Georgian, – following Questionnaire translation guidelines. Cover sheet, as a separate document, is used in the beginning of the interview to select the adult member of the sampled household for the interview and/or document the non-response, if any. Show Cards are prepared for the respondents to be able to choose from the answer options prepared for certain questions. Instructions for interviewers, on the other hand, are designed for the interviewers and should be closely followed during the process of each interview.

Sampling methodology, prepared by our regional sampling expert, describes all the steps of sample design and justifications for the decisions made in this process.

Block listing helps us update list of households actually living in each primary sampling unit (PSU). As a result of Block listing, we get reliable comprehensive list of all households in the sampled PSUs, which enable us to randomly sample the households to be interviewed.

Questionnaire pretest strategy explains how the questionnaire pretest has been organized; this strategy is the same for all countries.

Fieldwork backcheck is essential to ensure that the fieldwork has been conducted in accordance with the quality standards. Fieldwork backcheck strategy and the respective questionnaire employed during the backcheck give further insight to this process.
