Project title: Study on impediments and constraints for the cross border trade and investments between Georgia and Azerbaijan

Project objective: The main goal of the study is to analyze the trade structure between Georgia and Azerbaijan, to explore the new export and investment opportunities, to identify cross-border trade and investment constraints and impediments. Implementing partner in Georgia: GeoWel Research.

Research design: A review of the economic situation and business climate in Georgia and Azerbaijan, including analysis of existing studies on the subject. Six surveys in total, three in each country, including a survey among exporting companies, a survey of transportation companies and a survey of truck drivers at the border.
